Sammy's Deck View
Today I was out for a dog walk when I passed a house with a new deck railing. I had noticed before that there were a couple of spots at the corners left intentionally empty of railing, like little windows, for the dog, of course. I decided to return after walking my little Cindy to see if I could take a few photos of the house dog at this residence making use of the deck view. Sure enough, Kimberlee was still working on painting the railing, and she helped me to encourage Sammy (an 11-year-old Ridgeback X) to look out of the corner deck doggy "windows" created specially for him. He looked soooooo cute lookin' around the neighborhood out of his custom made viewspots. See for yourself . . .

I am in love with driver dogs!
My name's Glynis and I am a bonafide dog lover -- it's simple: dogs are joy. One thing I love about dogs, besides their paws, their chins, their ears and their tails, is the crazy way they look when they are sitting in a car just waiting for their mom or dad or pal to return. Sometimes they sit in the driver's seat; sometimes they ride shotgun; and sometimes they sit in the back seat. I love 'em all. I am going to dedicate this blog to photographing dogs sitting in cars (solo, no humans present, you understand) and publish them for all dog lovers to enjoy. Let's see how this goes!
First, I am going to include a photo of my own little girl, Cindy, with me. This photo is really special to me 'cuz it was taken on the first day she came to live with me. It was love at first sight when she came to my door, and now five years later, she has become even more dear to me.
Okay, so now that you've had a look at Cindy (more pics of her in car later), I will post one of my favorite dog photos. My husband, Allen, and I were visiting a Walmart in Burlington, Washington, and noticed a neat dog in a funky van. Wait, it gets even getter: he had a red heart marked on his forehead. I nicknamed him Loverboy, and he was a real gem. What do you think?!
